Space Invader 8Bit is a 25-stage low fidelity space shooter game themed after the arcade classic game Space Invaders. Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move around the stages and tap on the spacebar repeatedly to shoot at aliens. As you hit aliens they shrink, and then eventually perish. Some aliens move horizontally across the top of the screen whereas other stages have aliens that move down vertically. When vertically scrolling enemies are not fully defeated by the time they reach the bottom of the screen they may appear larger on their next pass through. Avoid running into enemy fire or any aliens, as you die if hit a single time. Your total enemies to defeat and remaining enemy count are shown in the upper left corner of the screen. This game is published in HTML5 using lightweight JavaScript, meaning it should work on mobile devices and most modern web browsers like Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox. You can play this game on Microsoft Windows desktop and laptop devices, iPads, iPhones and Google Android mobile phones.
